It is opening week for the St. Agnes Musical, I Love You Because, and here’s what you need to know: 

I Love You Because is a modern day twist on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice following the story of young Austin Bennet who must follow his heart on the bumpy road we call love. The students have been hard at work all while having fun. 

“I’ve had an amazing time overall, and we’ve been hard at work trying to make the show the best it can be,” said Michael Latiolais ‘24, understudy for the role of Jeff Bennet. 

Strake Jesuit and St. Agnes students have been practicing for months and are excited to be closing in on opening night. 

“I can’t wait for people to see the show.” Charles Donnell ‘24, playing the role of Austin Bennet, said. 

Everyone should come out and support our fellow Crusaders! Performances are at 7:00 p.m. on September 29, 30, October 1, and 6-8 in the Arthur W. Buckley Theatre at St. Agnes Academy. Tickets are on sale online.
