Super Smash Bros for the 3DS Brings New Game Modes, Characters

Super Smash Bros for the 3ds brings the classic game to a mobile device creating a new way to play the game. The ability to play Super Smash Bros on the run allows for the ability to play with your friends anywhere. If you have a wi-fi connection you can play online versus your friends or random people. Online play has two modes: fun and for glory. For Fun is a more casual, laid back game mode. If you want to play in a highly competitive mode you can play For Glory. The online play lets you play in a party smash with 3-4 players in the party, a one on one smash where you just go up against one other person, and a team smash where you and a teammate play two other people on another team.

The new Super Smash Bros for the 3ds game is not just the same as Super Smash Bros Brawl; it’s a whole different game. Super Smash Bros for the 3ds has all new maps to play, with an awesome new feature called Final Destination Mode. This allows you to change any map to the same landscape feature as the classic map Final Destination, which is just a flat piece of land. This allows for a wider range of maps to be used in competitive play. In the online modes the games will only play on maps that are in Final Destination Mode.

Super Smash Bros for the 3ds also has a whole new roster with awesome newcomers such as Pacman, Sonic, and Megaman. The final roster for the game includes 46 different characters and another awesome feature where you can create your own mii fighter. You can have your mii be a brawler, gunner, or swordfighter. This allows you to play as your mii in which ever way you want. You may also customize your mii fighters abilities with the ability to use up to three badges. A badge can increase attack, defense, or speed while decreasing a different aspect.

With the ability to use badges, your mii fighter can be tailored to whatever way you wish to play. You can also customize the appearance of you mii. If you do not want to play with other people, you can also play against the computer in standard smash mode, classic mode, or one of the various other game modes in the game. There is another mode even for training where you can get better with each character through practice. Overall I highly recommend Super Smash Bros for the 3ds.
